You want to be guided by your intuition and desires and not the fears and protocols of others.

That’s it, at a foundational level.
The way you have been preparing yourself for this is listening to podcasts, stories, reading books and articles and listening to people talk and teach on instinctive, primal, physiologic birth.
You have even empowered yourself with more deeply understanding Gods design of you, your baby and the unfolding of birth because you know this knowledge protects and preserves your ability to allow the unfolding to occur by design.
You have been doing all of this so that you can justify to yourself, family, or providers that your choices, that the burning desire inside of you to birth with your primal instincts intact, are right…
And that is exactly why this strategy alone is not enough.
Information gathering is helpful in the journey, a necessary ingredient i would say, because the right type and amount of information will help properly guide and inform our intuition.
And yet this is not enough, and it is not enough because you are using the information to justify something to yourself or others (which will crumble in the throes of labour) and/or to soothe your mind into thinking if you just ‘know’ enough, then you can control all the variables. (Which is an illusion).
What you really need is to build the identity, the embodiment, of a woman who follows her own guidance system, who has such a strong relationship with herself, with the mystery, and with God, that she cannot be swayed or rushed.
No matter the external circumstances.
